What is Dioclear and how does it work?
Dioclear contains diosmectite, a natural clay with a very high surface area. It protects the gastrointestinal mucosa, entraps pathogens that can cause diarrhoea, and absorbs water from the large intestine to restore balance.

What is Diarrhoea?
Defined by the World Health Organization as having three or more loose or liquid stools per day.

How often can people get Diarrhoea?
Most people experience one to two bouts of diarrhoea per year, often accompanied by abdominal pain, cramps, or bloating.

Are there many types of Diarrhoea?
Yes, there are two types: acute and chronic.

What is acute diarrhoea?
Acute diarrhoea is sudden and short-lived, usually lasting 1 to 5 days (sometimes longer). It’s typically not serious unless the patient is an infant or elderly.

Is Dioclear clinically proven?
Yes—Dioclear’s diosmectite has proven clinical efficacy in reducing stool output and shortening the duration of diarrhoea.

How many sachets of Dioclear a day should I take?
Adults: 1 sachet with 100 ml of liquid, 3 times per day
Children over 6 years: 2–3 sachets per day
Young children over 1 year: 1–2 sachets per day

Can I dissolve my Dioclear sachet into my infant’s bottle?
Yes—one sachet can be dissolved in 50 ml of liquid in an infant bottle feeder.

What are the key goals in management of diarrhoea?

Should I take Dioclear on holidays?
Yes—up to half of international travellers experience traveller’s diarrhoea each year. Carry Dioclear with you to manage it promptly.

What are the instructions and dosage for Dioclear?
Adults: 1 sachet in 100 ml of liquid, 3 times per day
Children > 6 years: 2–3 sachets per day
Young children > 1 year: 1–2 sachets per day
Each sachet should be used once (after opening). Dissolve in water or another liquid. For young children, you can use 50 ml in a bottle, divide it into 2–3 doses, or mix with semisolid food. Stir gently to suspend, and take between meals.
